SHA is hosting its first inaugural $10K youth basketball tournament, marking the launch of a new initiative led by Officer Brandon Hanks intended to connect local youth with representatives of local law enforcement and local agencies. Please join the mission in the fight against youth violence and welcome youth empowerment in our community.
The camp will incorporate mini-classes and training in the areas of financial empowerment, and health and wellness and offer exposure to education and job training programs.
Opening Ceremonies: Syracuse Police Chief Buckner and Mayor Walsh will be kicking off opening ceremonies at Wilson Park.
July 17th: Basketball Training Camp at Wilson Park for ages 13 – 15 and ages 16 – 19

July 24th: Basketball Tournament $2500 at Wilson Park for ages 13 – 15 and ages 16 – 19
- Music, Free Throw Contest, Food Catered, and Local Vendors
July 31st: Basketball Tournament $10000 at Wilson Park for ages 20 – 25
- Music, Slam Dunk contest, Free Throw Contest, Food Catered, and Local Vendors
