Working at SHA

As a Civil Service employer, Syracuse Housing Authority has positions that are classified as Labor, Non-Competitive, and Open-Competitive.
For those positions that are subject to examination, SHA must look to current Civil Service listings of candidates who have already taken the given position exam. For more information on Exam Announcements, go to http://www.ongov.net/employment/jobs/.

For positions that are not subject to examination, SHA may post and/or advertise those position openings.

For any position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for the job classification to be considered for the position. Please note, every job classification will have different educational, training, and experience requirements that MUST be met in order to be appointed.
