$10K 2026 IS BACK!
Our tournament is designed to create a safe, positive space for youth who may be at risk of experiencing or contributing to community violence. Through this initiative, SHA aims to foster meaningful connections between young people and trusted adults across our city, encouraging mentorship, guidance, and support.
More than just a competition, this event serves as a catalyst for youth violence prevention by introducing alternative, constructive pathways for growth and success. Throughout the tournament, participants will have access to mini-workshops and trainings focused on financial empowerment, health and wellness, education, and career opportunities.
We are also committed to strengthening relationships between youth and community leaders by engaging law enforcement, first responders, and local organizations, helping to build trust and unity across our community.
Past partners have included organizations such as Planned Parenthood, 100 Black Men of Syracuse, Pathfinder Bank, Upstate Medical University, Syracuse Fire Department, OG’s Against Violence, Vera House, Inc., and On Point for College, among others.
The day will begin with opening ceremonies at 10:00 AM, featuring remarks from Executive Director William J. Simmons and other community leaders.
