The Syracuse Housing Authority, Syracuse, New York, its affiliated entities are seeking sealed bids from qualified service providers with demonstrated competence and experience to provide all labor and material required to perform Asphalt paving at various locations in Pioneer Homes in Syracuse.
Project Scope –
Approximately 22,092 sqft of asphalt to be excavated, & milled. Install grade runner-crush as needed and compact. Install 3inch binder asphalt (type 3) and compact with multi tonnage roller. Hot tack seams where new meets existing.
Bids will be received until 3:00 PM local time, July 6, 2023 , at the office of the Owner, 516 Burt Street, Syracuse, NY 13202. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing on the outside the legend "Bid Documents", the name of the bidder, bidder's street and mailing address, bidder's phone number, the name of the project, and the date and time of the opening. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal and marked as above, must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to Mrs. Melissa Liquori, Facilities Manager, preferably by registered mail, and received on or before the stated time.
All bids must be accompanied by a completed “Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Bidders”, and each bid must be secured by a certified check, bank draft or properly executed bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the entire bid and made payable to the Syracuse Housing Authority.
Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, Minority and Women’s Business Opportunities, and resident employment (Section 3) requirements, and Bidders shall complete and submit a MWBE Plan and a Section 3 Plan Narrative with their bid. The minimum salaries and wages applicable to this project are set forth in the specifications.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the bid opening.

AMP 74 – Vinette Tower 1st through 6th Floor Restoration, Syracuse NY
The Syracuse Housing Authority, Syracuse, New York, will receive bids for the Vinette Tower 1st through 6th Floor Restoration in the AMP 74 – Vinette Towers development. Work of the project will be performed through a single prime General Construction contract.
